PDF Files Opening in a Separate Window, not in the CAPSYS Capture viewer

Issue: PDF Files during the intake process can open in a separate window and not in the CAPSYS Capture Viewer.

Resolution: The Browser or viewer window needs to be configured to use Acrobat or Adobe Reader software.  Complete the following steps to correct the issue:

  1. Exit Internet Explorer/CAPSYS Capture Viewer
  2. Start Acrobat or Adobe Reader
  3. Choose Edit Preferences
  4. Select Internet in the list on the left
  5. Select Display PDF in Browser, and click “OK”
  6. Restart Internet Explorer/CAPSYS Capture Viewer
